To catch up...
I have the beginnings of a cold (possibly strep throat - ech), but I promised an update, so here we go...I'll get through as many topics as I can for this post and I'll pick it up tomorrow to finish it off.
New rug in living room
Mark and I ended up going to a carpet store where they sell wall-to-wall carpet. We thought we might find something we could have made into an area rug. When we walked into the place, there were about 100 remnants to choose from along with regular carpet. We saw this one piece that was 13x8 feet and thought it was great, but a little dark. We ended up taking off that day, saying 'if that piece is there when we come back again, then we NEED to get it.' Lo and behold, we returned a week later and it was still there! The kicker? It was only $215 for the rug plus a small fee to bind it!!! Score! Ralph Lauren - Karastan - Chocolate - Heaven!
New rug in Bella's room.
We didn't really get a NEW rug for her room. We just took the white one from the living room and put it in Bella's room. It is awesome! Now she has another place to play which is great.
Yummy Spaghetti Sauce and Carnitas
I made a double batch of this sauce last weekend to use during the week, and I made Carnitas. They were both great. Try them!
Searching for a bean bag for bella.
I ended up ordering one from Pottery Barn Kids. In red, with white lettering for her name. in lowercase typewriter font. Not sure if we'll get it by her birthday, but I think she'll love it!
And for tomorrow.....
Teaching Bella how to sleep on her own.
Planning Bella's birthday party.
Organizing our garage renovations.
the mcevoy ranch olive tree i think i am killing
the new hamper i am loving
Bellarina is now officially walking
