What Are You Waiting For?

If you take a peek at the top of the page, you'll see that I am now officially at 40 weeks. Isabella is due today! The fact that I am posting today will give you tremendous insight into the fact that I haven't delivered yet. This kills me to no end, mainly because I am possibly the most anal person I know. Everything MUST be on a schedule. I guess she is already teaching me to relax a little and let things happen as they will.

To keep my mind off of things, I started a project for me. An actual knitting project for me! It's a poncho (yes I have fallen into the trendy hole) done with Cascade Pastaza (Color 004). It's very basic, but that's what I like about it. It's a mindless K4 P2 pattern throughout, but finished it looks great. The pattern is from a store I frequent in San Carlos (free with yarn purchase - if you are interested in the full, albeit short, pattern let me know). I finished the project for the kid's book and it goes in the mail today (which will no doubt make my editor very happy).

All in all, an uneventful morning so far, but hopefully things will liven up soon. More to come I am sure ;->
