Here Knitty, Knitty....

Can you believe it? Little ol me in Knitty? I literally had tears in my eyes when I saw it online.

When Amy posted the call for patterns, she asked for some easy accessories and I did my best to deliver. I guess it worked!

I gotta tell ya, when I look at my pattern compared to the intricate stuff in this issue, I can't help but think they made a mistake! Everything is sooo beautiful and I am really honored to be among them. I can hold my own with the needles, but MAN these are a talented bunch of designers!

I am already planning my next submission (which I promise will be a bit more challenging).

New furniture!

Mark and I paid a visit to the furniture store today and walked out (well, not literally) with:

A new china cabinet:



and...A Recliner (because we REALLY need an excuse to sit in front of the TV ;->)!



Yes, it's poofy, but oh so comfy - and the one we got is dark brown, not black so it's less disco! Both pieces get delivered Friday - can't wait.

In other news, I have a big announcement tomorrow (no hints today - sorry!). Ok, it's knitting related and I can't actually believe it's going to happen - yikes!

In OTHER knitting news, I joined the Rowan Members club and got my free kit for joining yesterday along with the latest Rowan book. I am drooling over everything. I can't wait until my christmas gifts are done so I can start work on my own projects - I am almost there! And by the looks of the projects I have waiting for me, I am going to be busy for QUITE a while!
